The online application is open from September 1st, 2011 till October 9th, 23:59 (GMT +02:00) on Junior Peak Time’s website www.juniorpeaktime.org
The competition consists of two rounds: online preliminary round and the finals in Riga.
During the online preliminary rounds participants will be evaluated on individual basis. All applicants will receive the guidelines and tasks on Monday, October 10th. The tasks are connected with economics and business and are aimed at enhancing critical thinking of a high-school student; however, no technical or specific knowledge is required.
The deadline for submitting individual solutions of the tasks is Sunday, October 23rd, 23:59 (GMT +02:00).
The results of the individual tasks will be announced on Friday, October 28th.
The best 40 students will be invited to come to finals at Stockholm School of Economics in Riga on Sunday, November 5-6th.
In order to confirm participation in finals, participants should register by Monday, October 31st, 23:59 (GMT +02:00). More information will be provided after closing preliminary round.
In the finals, participants will be evaluated on individual basis; however, performance in randomly assigned teams will play a significant role as well.
All the materials provided, tasks, as well as presentations in the finals will be in English language.
